I wish I had more reach, but the Pana 100-400 is more than 2.5X the cost of the 100-300 (CAD 1600 vs 600 (mk I) used).

East Point park bird sanctuary, Scarborough, Ontario

(I know nothing about birds - thank goodness there is Google image search!)

I take that back. Had another look at the beak ... I now believe that this is a Great-Tailed Grackle.

Highly unlikely that you will find a Great Tailed Grackle in Scarborough Ontario.
