New from Nokishita. Two different battery grips. WFT has bulge.

I find it very strange that there is only one new grip for two cameras. (Not counting the WFT). It’s possible that they both use the same grip, which would be amazing but that does not sound like the Canon we know.

Improved costs of scale and only having to develop one design?

For grip it might be new for Canon, but they usually use the same batteries and other accessories across different models. This is good. Saves production costs by making only one model. Also emphasizes that both are similar in quality, although R5 will get a more rugged sealing.

Looks like the WFT grip adds an ethernet port.

Has anyone seen generic battery grips for the R5 or R6?
