I didn't want the pre-school trolling to be the only voice you are hearing.  Completely agree with you.

It's a shame, as some of the content is worth discussing.  But the uncivil behaviour and typical keyboard warrior BS by members only brave enough when typing can ruin what DPR has created and has gone on for too long.

Civil behaviour is lacking in the challenge forums. It is absolutely correct to DM someone before attacking them publicly. There is something pathologically absurd with Tasad’s obsessiveness that is quite disturbing. I also find cowardice in those that hide bravely behind digital personas.

Absolutely agree

Any decent person would contact people directly and privately before dragging them around in public. A self appointed Judge with the self given right to drag peoples names into the dirt publicly before even giving them a chance to respond seems totally sick in my view.

I personally find it very disturbing.

As you will have seen Marcus, the little gang on here takes cheating on the DPR challenges VERY seriously. To them it is so serious that any measures they take to stop it are reasonable and they will join forces behind Tasad to resist anyone who does not agree. It's all a bit cult-like.

I have argued with them previously after one declared a cheater to be a sociopath. Several others joined in and argued vehemently that evidence of cheating in DPR challenges is absolutely sufficient grounds for an Internet-diagnosis of sociopathy and that anyone who would cheat in this way would necessarily have no morals whatsoever.

Look, I disagree with cheating and I do get some enjoyment from reading the results of Tasad's investigations, but it's all relative. Maybe it's my background in criminology and psychology that leaves me seeing illicit and anti-social behaviours as sitting along a continuum of seriousness. Placing cheating in DPR challenges in the same category as something like serial murder does not seem to me particularly useful or healthy.

Completely agree.

So totally out of any kind of proportions...

For heaven’s sake. It is up to YOU to prove my guilt. Repeat: I HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING WRONG! Stop stalking me.

Don’t write in this thread any more. Of course I feel forced to respond when you Publically accuse me of cheating. Have I done that? No!!! And yet here I am being jumped upon in a thread where people, including me, starting to be questioned for what’s going on in our private lives (my work with my ex-wife, another member’s background in psychology etc etc).
This is not normal Tasad!

Im asking you again please stop stalking me in this thread. And understand that when you and your private Royal Court run against me for things I havent don you continuously force me to respond.

I agree overall with all that you have said in this thread, Marcus.

In fairness (I believe in fairness, even if others don't) I did open the door to that question, so I will answer it.

The reference to my background refers to my studies in psychology and criminology (two masters degrees) and 20 or so years working in the criminal justice system.

In response to David1961s comment - While I have visited a bunch of prison, I have never served time. If I had been referring to a period of imprisonment I would likely have used the word "crime", rather than "criminology".

Yep, I totally agree. The vigilante gang approach, complete with the goons and dysfunctional sidekicks, is bizarre and harmful. The power of the keyboard...

Clearly even the apology to the other member that he buried at the end of his accusation thread was totally disingenuous, given he is now insisting that he was not wrong and challenging you to prove (to his own satisfaction) otherwise.

CALM DOWN EVERYBODY !
5

Everybody, please calm down now !

There is no need whatsoever to continue with campaigning against Tasad or against Mr Scorpio. Both are valuable members, one as an effective misuse chaser and the other as a valuable challenge host!

So please stop the hostile comments and the construction of "straw-men". We don't really need that in the Challenge Discussion thread, which is normally reasonably polite. Frankness about cheating does however need to be visible.

Please however be aware that "each DPR member is only allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed". So if somebody even by mistake uses or has even registered  multiple accounts they should immediately have all but one account cancelled by DPR admins.  I'm sure everybody understands this by now.

have a good week with many pictures shot.

best regards / Mvh

Two ways to avaoid accusations of cheating
