T8i vs T3i rebel

I would like to know apart from bluetooth,

(1)- how does the T8i compare to the T3i rebel?

(2)- Are the T3i kit lens interchangeable  with the T8i comfortably (without adapters)?

ANSWER:

Not sure how they compare feature wise. I assume the focusing and fps would be faster and maybe better high ISO performance. Kinda depends on what your current T3i isn't doing for you and what you need it to do.

But yes, any lens you have for your T3i will work without any adapters on a T8i.

I still use m T3 as my vacation camera. It's great in good light for holiday memories.

Re: T8i vs T3i rebel

I replaced my T3i with a 77D (basically a T7i+). The increase in image quality was striking, using the same lenses. Better higher ISO performance, other improved features. I have no regrets other than not being able to afford it sooner.

Is the T3i what you have right now?

Question 2, your kit lens I'm assuming is the 18-55mm EF-S which will mount on any Canon APS-C DSLR save for the ancient ones that are EF only. Yes, your kit lens will go onto the T8i without adapter if you are just looking to buy the body only.

Question 1, DPReview has a comparison tool.

https://www.dpreview.com/products/compare/side-by-side?products=canon_eos600d&products=canon_eos800d&products=canon_eos77d&products=canon_eos850d&products=canon_eos80d&sortDir=ascending

By the look of it, take the 80D and shoves it into a rebel T8i body. So, you lose the weather sealing, heavier build, larger viewfinder, AFMA (AF fine tunning). However, the 4k video doesn't look cropped and the buffer is actually large. You get the double control wheel function from the 10D-90D and 77D.

The AF is superior to the T3i and image quality should be less noise and more dynamic range.

An impressive camera to me at least and a substantial upgrade from the T3i.
