GR II + VSCO = I'm amazed
6

I am really amazed, how well some VSCO film presets work with the GRII. When I applied them on my beloved Panasonic GF1's RAW files, I was never satisfied. Quite the contrary with the GRII.

Here are a few examples ("Agfa Vista 100 Warm+" applied):

Cheers,

Loga

These are very, very cool.

And the particular preset you are using - Afga Vista 100 Warm - is both subtle and rich.

Great set of images.

It makes me wish that I had bought these presets when VSCO was still selling them, a few years ago; now that VSCO has discontinued this business, I don't think they are available anywhere.

I agree, one of my favourites among the 'best of VSCO' what I bought.

Great set of images.

Thanks again!

I couldn't agree more. Actually I managed to buy this 'Best of' collection in the last minute before they discontinued all of them and make only the mobile version available. I simply don't understand why did they do this. It stopped them to earn more money and stopped us out there to enjoy these great presets. Lose-lose, if you ask me. I am really happy that at least I bought this 'Best of' collection, however, I would be very happy to try the dedicated ones, since in this Best of there are only a few which I like.

It's not surprising to me that this particular preset is called 'Agfa Vista 100 Warm' - because it has such a special 'warm' colour palette - which is really the opposite of the look created by many harsher, colder 'modern' digital jpegs.

I used the same preset on this photo, taken with the older 10mp Ricoh GRDiii - and it truly transformed a flat image and brought it to life.

You're totally right, Loga - it's amazing what this subtle LR preset can do

Very nice colors and tones. Please keep posting GRDiii x Agfa files, I am really interested what this humble preset can do with older cameras!

Cheers,
