Some more early morning wanderings in Amsterdam...
22

... 5 AM wake up... and then jump to action...

Moody blue hour.

The last bit of blue hour...

A bit of color in the sky.

The sun is out...

And here to stay!

Love the mood in this edit!

With our intelligent lockdown... the pigeons have taken over the street (the Oly 40-150mm/f2.8 + the mc14 at 210mm).

Went for a bicycle ride later that day in the Amsterdam surroundings and though it is totally different... still wanna share... should make you smile...

A curious lamb.

All shot with an EM5.2, except the pigeon shot all with the Oly 12-40mm/f2.8.

Stay sane... stay safe!

Really nice set. From good to even better. And then the lamb... Fantastic finish!

The pigeons are my favorite, though.

Thanks for taking the time to capture, edit and share!

Absolutely love your pictures!  The peacefulness makes me nostalgic for the Amsterdam that I knew well in the late '70s while I was living in Düsseldorf, Germany.

My favorite one is your "mood edit" (#7). That would look breathtaking as a large piece of wall-art in someone's living room. Thanks for sharing!

Regards,

Bernard

Excellent set of images with my favourites being 2, 7 and 9. Love the detail in the mirror-like reflections.

Thanks. Have been waiting several weeks for a morning without wind... and this was almost perfect!

Yeah may print one or two of these and that one would do great!

Kind regards.

That one also had me wondering "Is my flood insurance paid up?"

Lovely, peaceful set.

Hallo,

what is the price of a house in euros on that location, let's say for the white one on the first and second photo? Just curious ...

Just had a quick look at some broker sites, and both will probably cost between 2 and 4 million euro. You probably will own between 150 and 300 square meters then, depending on how long/small the house is.

Be aware that the ground remains in ownership of the city. So you either have to cough up additional dough to buy that, if that is possible, or you have to pay a monthly/yearly fee to the city, like rent!

And since you may be sharing a foundation with other buildings, you may end up paying maintenance for others as well!

Amsterdam ain't cheap!!!

Very subtle, beautiful images. Next best thing to being there.
