Hey Fraserwhy,

There are a few ways. But the easiest way is to use Canon's "EOS Webcam Utility" that they just released.

You can download it for the 2000D here - EOS Webcam Utility - https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/self-help-center/eos-webcam-utility/

Once you install it, it's as simple as setting your camera in video mode, plugging it in via USB, and then launching Zoom or Skype etc. and choosing "EOS Webcam Utility" as your webcam.

I set mine up with a 77D and it worked right away.

Some things to note:

- The driver is still in beta, so it may not be perfect. My experience was smooth and no issues though.

- It's just a software driver, so there's no user interface (to control your camera). You need to control your camera from the camera itself.

- It currently doesn't support audio out from the camera. So you will need to use your built-in mic, or connect an external mic.

- Keep in mind that it will be running off your battery power unless you get the power adapter (or unless your camera can run off USB power). Keep a few extra battery packs ready.
