Phereo website is down

For about 1 week I have been unable to access the Phereo website from a Windows PC using Firefox, IE, or Chrome.

According to Jack DesBwa Phereo use 2 servers one being API (information which is lost on me).  The API site may still be working.  Using Phereo's app on a 3D phone and tablet or using Jack DesBwa's app PhereoRoll3D to access images on Phereo I am able to see images on recent, popular, etc.  But even on recent the most recent image upload was from 14 April.

I know a few who post on this forum use Phereo (some frequently uploading images).  Is anyone here able to access Phereo?  I will be quite sad if it is down for good.

I have tried the new 3D website Stereopix which Jack DesBwa created.  Unfortunately there is some issue for me to view glasses free on my 3D phone or tablet.  Jack had added functionality (with SView install to your local machine) to support NVIDIA 3D vision systems which I use with a laptop.  This works but it is a little more cumbersome to change to the next picture.  From my experience (maybe I am missing some thing) you must go to full screen mode for the NVIDIA to work and then must exit full screen to advance to next image.  With Phereo you could view the image with NVIDIA in a smaller window and click to the right edge of the image to advance to the next or left edge to go to the previous.  You could of course also view in full screen mode in Phereo if desired but it was not necessary to do so to display in 3D with NVIDIA.  I suppose this may a limitation of SView rather than the Stereopix site.

Where else is everyone sharing 3D images that can be viewed glasses free on 3D phones or tablets or with an NVIDIA 3D Vision system without having to first download the image (if they site even allows download)?  I sometimes view in Anaglyph and many images (especially B&W) work very well viewed this way.  I have not mastered free-viewing L-R SBS images.  I can view cross (R-L) but it produces eyestrain after doing this for too long.

Re: Phereo website is down

I beleive the current pandemic crisis has effected (affected?) Phereo.  It may not survive.  Hopefully, I'm wrong.

Re: Phereo website is down

There was one former Phereo employee/partner/team member who was still performing some maintenance on the site. One reason I have posted here as well as on photo3D forum is the hope of Phereo is mentioned multiple times on various sites that it may come to the attention of that individual who may understand many still use and enjoy the site and maybe they will fix it.

Jack DesBwa has done a great job creating his StereoPix site as alternate to or replacement for Phereo.
