Please, a premium, but not enormous 12mm f/2 with nice sunstars, and/or a premium and fast 18mm - not a pancake.

A 12mm would definitely be nice.  My Rokinon 12mm has been great, but I'm interested to see how an ultra-wide Fuji prime would perform.

Yeah, a better Rokinon/Samyang 12 f/2 with better flare resistance and sunstars. I don’t even care if it has AF.

I think I’d rather just buy an X-H1/X-T4 instead. I rather like my 16-55 the way it is and hardly ever miss having OIS. Anything that would make it even bigger and heavier probably wouldn’t go over all that well. The 50-140 needs OIS, but the 16-55 really doesn’t - not in my view anyway.

Can’t imagine this is priority with IBIS bodies being released and so many holes in the lens lineup. But who knows.

Pretty cool. Hopefully it's on par with the Canon 70-300 4-5.6 L. I was actually going to purchase that lens to use with the Fringer adapter but just as long as Fuji doesn't add too much Fuji tax on it I'd prefer to buy a native version if quality is equal.

Don't be greedy: I'd like one of them to be a 300mm f/4 prime, that can take a teleconverter. Pretty please, Fujifilm.

Please, any Fuji lens with nice sunstars. My best so far for that is the 16-50mm at F22, but 16mm is not wide enough.

Yes, a 300/4 and a 500/5.6!  Even though I own the 100-400/4.5-5.6 it would still be great to a have a telephoto prime.

Ok so my wishes...

70mm f2.5 WR

23-56mm f2.8 zoom (smaller than 16-55mm and 16-80mm)

$200 23mm XC

30mm F1.4 (like the Sigma or maybe Sigma will just finally make it for Fuji X)

The 8-16 has excellent sunstars. Stupid expensive and heavy though.

Re: "rumour" 70-300 4-5.6

The photographic press recently published patents taken out by Fuji on 300/4 and 500/5.6 prime lenses.  That doesn't mean they will necessarily be made.  Not does it imply that they will be offered this year.  But Fuji's long prime line up ends at 200/2.  And their affordable prime line up ends at 90mm.   So maybe they are the two.....

They won't be cheap lenses.  The 300/4 might be affordable but the 500mm will be an expensive lens, just like Nikon's 500/5.6PF lens.:-(  It will make the 100-400 look very affordable.

Cheers, Rod

Re: "rumour" 70-300 4-5.6

Does anyone remember when we used to screw on a 4 pt star or 8 pt star filter to get the effect?

Might need to root through my drawer of old stuff to see if I still have any around.

One can still buy all kinds of starfilters e.g. from Amazon :  4, 6, 8 stars and all common

diameters for about 20 - 35 bucks.

I would rather see a refreshed 18-55/2.8-4 with marked aperture ring and the same filter size as the 55-200, 62 instead of 58. Maybe less field curvature if they can do it.

So far the only sensible zoom combination is the XC 16-50 and 50-230 with 58 filters, and they stopped making the 16-50.

You might say 16-55/2.8 and 50-140/2.8 are sensible (72) but 140mm is not much of a telephoto.

Good news about the 70-300, but we didn't get to vote on filter size. It should match the 16-80/4.

Some of us think the X-Pro series is the best Fuji camera... it`ll be another 3 years before that is refreshed.   Yes, I know... I use multiple bodies and agree with you.  That said, OIS and IBIS work in conjunction with each other in amazing ways.

I would like to see an XC 18-135mm with similar optical performance as the inexpensive Canon EF-S 18-135mm ƒ/3.5-5.6 IS STM, ( Which the current more expensive Fujinon XF lens can not match, BTW).
