Looking to upgrade from a Lumix GX7 for Clean HDMI Output

Hi there!
I have a Lumix GX7 with the Lumix G 20mm f/1.7 Aspherical G Series Lens and the Panasonic H-HS12035 LUMIX G X VARIO 12-35mm/F2.8 ASPH X Series Lens that I loved using, but I wanted to upgrade to a camera that could I could use to livestream with my audio interface set up that I have to record music. I primarily used the camera for family events, but will likely use it most of the time as livestream camera. I am tight on money, but I just want the best bang up for the buck, while being able to use the two lenses that I have. Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance!

I think the em52 can stream clean live.

Used GH4 or GH5 - or new GH4 - and both support triggering a number of outboard recorders (among a number of other helpful features).

Assuming you wanted to stick with Micro 4/3's, not explicitly clear from your question, i.e. are you looking to/okay with switching systems?

Take a look at the DC-GX9, It is kind of thought of as the spiritual successor of the GX7, and has a retractable door over the micro-HDMI port and micro-USB ports on the side. It does exhibit some rolling shutter in 4K, but is very good at FHD.

Otherwise a DC-G9 would be a step-up price wise, but does allow for 4K, and with the $99 DMW-SFU1, it does 4K 10-bit internal, making it much closer to the pricier GH5. Also, given that you have Panasonic Lenses, the DFD system in the G9 should allow for faster AF speeds

I used to be adamant about keeping the mft cameras, but these days, I’m willing to go for bulkier cameras if it means better quality for less money. However, I am kind of hesitant to switch because of the hassle of trying to sell everything

You have to watch out for recording time limits, battery life (does it have a battery pass through, or USB direct power), and overheating.

Mirrorless cameras aren't built for livestreaming. They generally will manage it, but only for a limited time.

A simple dedicated video camera might be a better option?

I don't know which mirrorless cameras you have used, but the Panasonic GH series are very good for long term streaming as far as heat. And as for power, there are a number of after-market solutions that allow any GH3/4/5, G9 to run for virtually unlimited times. The ones I use take Sonly L series batteries and can run the cameras for a couple of days on two of the larger batteries.

If you do not need the dedicated features of a "purpose-built" video camera, the GH series are very hard to beat for video and live-streaming.
