NX30 Screen Issues (seeking help from fellow NX30 users)

The articulating AMOLED screen on my NX30 has not worked for almost two years now.
I've been able to cope with using the viewfinder so far.

I don't know why the screen stopped working, but the camera is undamaged in any way,
and I'm honestly not looking for a reason, gave up on that a while back.
The camera works 100% apart from the display not working, therefore I cannot use the Smart functionality of the camera or upgrade the firmware.

Ever since the screen stopped working I have debated whether or not I should set the camera to display through the AMOLED only.

I am mildly convinced that this could get the display to work (because I believe the camera thinks the display is folded closed, even when it is not)

I noticed that when you set it to viewfinder only, the VF stays on all the time, as apposed to AUTO, where the VF turns off if you take your eye away.
This makes me think that if I set it to Display Only, the screen will turn on whether or not it's folded away.

I am worried that if I set it to Display Only, and the display really does not work, I won't be able to navigate the menu to change it back to Auto or VF Only (since the camera thinks the display is closed and the viewfinder is disabled, therefore ignoring any button input)

AFAIK there is no way to reset the camera other than navigating through the menu so I am honestly terrified to try this out without some further assistance.

Please NX30 owners, if any of you browsing this forum still even have one, please tell me you are capable of navigating the menu while the camera is set to Display Only and the screen is folded away, aka the SAMSUNG logo carved into plastic is facing you;
and that you can set it to Viewfinder Only, whilst only using the buttons.

(if you've just set it to Display Only, just click MENU > OK > UP > OK and hopefully it changes back to viewfinder only)

I really enjoy this camera and personally it's perfect for me, I've never used a camera that's been more comfortable to use than this one.

Unfortunately the lineup is discontinued so an issue like this can't be fixed unless it's as simple as a loose ribbon connector or a microswitch failure.
If the issue is as I described it above then it could potentially be fixed without spare parts, and I am willing to send it in to get fixed.

Why you don't get the service manual and open the camera to see if there is some loose or cracked cable?

In Ebay you can find the service manual.

If you still want the tests, let me know.
