Canon AEB HDR Sort Python Script
1

Hi everyone,

I wrote an python script (actually a couple of years ago), which helps me to sort HDR images taken with a Canon cameras (in AEB) and/or with Magic-Lantern.

Chajas_Canon_AEB_HDR_SortMove

It worked out so well for me, that I am willing to share it to anyone how likes to use it. Currently I am working on the script to unify both scripts and to level to code up to a professional level. I wrote both scripts in a 3 hours train ride and it still looks like that, not that worse, but it does not meet my quality standards

I hope you find it also as useful as I do and save a lot of time to sort HDRs. I am open for changes (if I have time) and suggestions.

I could only test this with a Canon 60D and 80D, because I have only these two, if this script should work out for other brands, feel free to play around and share the code with us or create a pull-request.

Kind Regards

Oh......Wow.

Wait......What?

HDR?

You take HDR pics in camera???

By the way, I am starting to learn computer programming and I wonder where you learned python......

Re: Canon AEB HDR Sort Python Script

Hi,

actually I take 3+ pictures with the camera and merge them i.e. in Lightroom to a HDR-Image.

I am workings as an Embedded-Engineer and I learned the basics of C/C++ at university and Python mostly from Tutorials. I am programming C/C++ on a daily basis and Python only for the toolchain and for private stuff.

But as I mentioned, currently I do a "huge" refactoring of the scripts, because they do not meet my quality standards, but I am a little bit proud that they work so good and reliable
