Wood River, Ketchum, ID. Canon m6 with efm 55-200 @156mm, ISO 320, f/11, 13 sec, +1.3 EV

Here is a recent example of what the Canon m6 is capable of, along with the efm55-200 lens on a tripod with manual focus. Processed in Luminar 4. I was going for a sharply focused subject so I could get the details in the hoarfrost on top and have the water be blurred. I was also trying to hold detail and contrast in the snow. I would love to have your feedback.

Hi!

Your subject looks kind of lonely in the center of photo. I don't say dull, but subject kind of floats in emptiness. Blue colour of photo emphasizes coldness and looks good. I'm not looking your photo in original size, so can't comment sharpness etc.

Maybe it would have been even better, if you would have chosen shorter exposure. Then some texture or details in stream would have make photo even more intetesting.

Thanks for the feedback, Asla. I think you are right about using a faster shutter speed to capture more detail in the water.
