I have a RX100Va, I would love to use it and provide a review on the site. How do we arrange it?

Re: RX1xx Salted Line Garbage

Tried this brand, for a9 and rx100. Total junk, leakers. Contacted customer support, they were no help. And they laughed at me. Avoid.

Someone needs to come up with rx100 surf solution, it's the perfect camera.

Re: RX1xx Salted Line Garbage

You should be aware that their many sellers who sell Seafrogs products around the world, it is not just one. I guess it was a bad luck case trying to save some money and getting it from some random seller with no aftersales :/ Be more careful in the future!

I don't know what you are talking about. I bought directly from Seafrogs.  That was my mistake.  With Amazon I could have returned it.  Their housings leak badly in light surf or beach.   Pathetic.  I even bought the vacuum.

I don't know about light surf, but I've taken my SeaFrogs housings (two of them) down to 10-30m over a hundred times now, and neither of them leaked.

Thanks for your sharing experience.  I love the seafrogs course of business, image and overall offering, but on both products for me, a total failure.  I think it's because I "work" with aggressive conditions, shooting from a surfing lineup.  But the "warranty" service was ridiculous.  They didn't even believe me ("please send in a video of how you load your camera in our housing" - how patronizing after spending 1000 bucks!! ).  They completely challenged my ability to load the housings,  (I have over 20 years in water photography). I'm pretty sure the housings are OK in calm conditions. Hopefully they will get better!

I disagree about that being ridiculous - many people do utterly braindead things with stuff they buy. When my SeaFrogs ST-100 Pro strobes stopped firing, they asked me for a video demonstrating the problem, I made one and sent it to them, and got both strobes promptly replaced.

Re: RX1xx Salted Line Garbage

Loading a housing is not hard to do!  The thing is I have a gen 1 rx100 housing that I DO braindead loads on and it NEVER leaks.  That housing is exceptional.  Both housings with a trigger, leak badly.  I sent in a video and pictures and they didn't reply back nor give me rma.  My advice, don't buy a triggered housing, but if you do, use Amazon so you can return it.

Re: RX1xx Salted Line Garbage

Is the trigger port a problem also when you don’t use the pistol grip?

Re: RX1xx Salted Line Garbage

Still leaks. with or without trigger. STILL LEAKS EVEN THOUGH I CHECK IT WITH VACUUM. Too many leak points to check when it leaks, the tinyest amount of water fries the trigger.
