Regarding accessing developer menus in NX cameras.

Hey gang - please bear with me for a moment.  I tried searching for threads involving developer menus and some of them conflict with each other.

I am wanting to access the developer menu in both my NX30 and NX500 camera to adjust OIS and a few other parameters.  I've tried following instructions for how to enter the developer menu - all to no avail.  Yes, I have it set in Auto mode.

Does anyone have a foolproof (for dummies) simple set of directions for successfully entering the developer mode on these cameras?

Thanks in advance...

Ben

Samsung removed easy access to DEV MENU from latest firmwares for nearly all models. You would have to either hack (nx500) or downgrade (nx30).

That said, unless you actually have problems with OIS (I didn't) you will see no difference at all (I recalibrated and could not tell any difference at all - it was fine before, it's fine now).

I have a problem with 16-50mm Z lens and NX500. It seems with this combination the OIS will not turn off. I've not tested to see if this affects lens sharpness at slow shutter speeds (another reported issue).

My body firmware is 01.11. Like Ben I could not access developer menu.

I bought the lens because it was going cheap rather than any real need. So if it can't be fixed then I can always flog the lens on so no big deal. I use my NX500 with 16mm pancake purely for street.
