You "guys" (generic term for everyone) are posting some real gems.  Admittedly seeing your creativity and work each week is the most enjoyable aspect of this forum and I feel privileged to be the OP on a weekly basis.

That's a lovely composition and array of colors.  Much work in post, may I ask?  I like it a lot.

Always a pleasure to wee your images.

Bob

I love them as well, and Iā€™m gonna seriously hope that your comment was a bit of a typo, otherwise, the OP might just take that a bit personally.

That's funny!  I suppose I could edit the posts and delete YOURS but it has some comical value....yes the "S" key is somewhat close to the "W" key.  If I had said "wee on"...then there would be a problem....especially as an older male...okay enough said. šŸ˜„

XPro1 still can in 2019
5

A few recent images with the XPro1 and 35mm f1.4. Raw developed in LR. For a camera that's a few hundred dollars + a decent lens, there's still much to do with this model. Yes the rendering is different to the later X models, and not as much resolution or shadow recovery either, but it's still capable of so much. I like using older model cameras. They remind me that old doesn't mean incapable.

From the front porch. Required a little shadow recovery.

An unfolding fern. Happy with the detail from the 35mm f1.4 matching with the XPro1. Please no comments regarding microcontrast

Some walking around shots with the X-T100
3

Just a few test shots.

I'm very impressed with the IQ this little camera can produce.

All shots with the 27mm f/2.8 pancake lens.

Leafy - in Colour. Please view at Original size

And in monochrome - just because it's arty

The Dog Wash Salon - Sometimes colour is just too much

The Red Sports Car - from inside the Dumplings Shop

Snow Geese Catch Fire
5

The sun had set when these geese flew over me. I heard them take off yet could not see me as there view was blocked by phragmites behind and to my side. As the geese climbed they reached the sun's flame colored rays.

Re: Making the most of a cloudy day

Wonderful shot, Tom!

When I first looked at it, I thought it was B&W... actually I'm thinking it might look good in B&W; have you tried a version of that?

Thank you, Martin!

It's all about the colors here: orange, green, red and blue. Not too much work in post, but used some brushes and tried to emphasize the red tones here and there to break up the orange/yellow tones a bit. All done in CaptureOne and - if I remember right - a little touch with Nik Plugins, ColorEfex, in the finish. I did the edit during a vacation there on my notebook and don't have the edit version on hand, so I can't tell exactly ...

I remember having been so unhappy with the details in this picture when editing it on my super aged MacBook ... so unhappy I decided to finally get myself a Z7 when I'd get back home. Finally, when taking a look at the pictures on my highres iMac at home, the Fuji smile came back

Cheers, Fred
