Anybody knows if the on board flash of 50M fires a pre-flash?

I'm pretty sure it doesn't. It uses the red light at the side to get it right.

I'd be very surprised indeed if that were the case - the red light is the autofocus assist illuminator.  Almost all mirrorless cameras use preflash to do TTL metering of the flash output - a separate, different-coloured light from a different location on the body with a completely different output would be very difficult to use for this purpose.

Indeed,that's my understanding too.

I checked this issue yesterday. It DOES fire a pre-flash.

OK - I didn't notice it when I tried. Maybe my eyes weren't quick enough,

Alan, I checked the on board flash against a powerful external salve.

The slave fired and I got a very dark photo, meaning the the frame was lit by the pre, not by the powerful slave..
