TG6 or Osmo Pocket

Which one has better photo and video quality for shallow snorkeling? Thank you..

I have Fuji Finepix XP120 and quality above and below water is not good..

I have plan for Myanmar island snorkeling in 3 months.. Like this.. http://www.grandandaman.co.th/diving-eng.html

Re: TG6 or Osmo Pocket

osmo competes with a gopro, not any compact camera.    It will do video fine, with the plus and minuses of a wide, fix focus lens.  Photographically, those are mostly minuses.

Thank you.. I shoot both photo and video..

After watching few clips, seems GoPro8 is better than the two..

If you plan on doing any kind of photography I would highly recommend the TG6.  All you will need is the camera (it is waterproof to 15meters) a few batteries and a few memory cards and you will be set for lots of fun.

Im a Sony fan-boy and I have the RX100Va but Im kind of wishing I had bought the TG6 now that I have some time behing the RX100Va, mostly because the RX100 is not so durable.

Thank you Dann..

After thinking back and forth, I decide to get TG6 as underwater/waterfall/water-activity camera, and perhaps OSMO pocket (with waterproof case) for my kids to video above and below water..

I like the Panasonic TS6, and it's predecessor the TS3 (RIP ). I don't have any video samples, but some snorkeling pictures can be found in this thread:

I'd imagine the TG6 would give similar results. I went with the Panasonic because that's what I'm used to.

Glad that you have got the olympus, dji osmo pocket isn't for underwater even though they have brought out the underwater housing for it.

I purchased the housing before my trip to the Philippine and it was rubbish in the sense that it disables stabilisation. And the Osmo sensor has a very limited range of white balance which makes it difficult to do much correction in pp.

The housing gives you no control except the on/off and record button.

Very disappointing, I'll be asking DJI for a refund for the housing.
