Anyone else still using their SX20 is ?
1

I am.

My first Digital camera was a Casio QV-300 back in 1998. The SX20is was my 2nd Digital camera and I got it about 2 months ago. In between almost all the photographing I did was on Kodachrome film in an inexpensive nikon camera. Until it became nearly impossible to get the film or get it developed.

My most advanced camera is an FZ1000 which far exceeds my photography skills.

But for my hobbyist photography I find the SX20is still a very good little camera. It's very small and lightweight yet capable of some pretty good shots (imo)

It's also inexpensive enough that I can take it anywhere without any real concerns of losing it or having it stolen as the replacement cost is under $100

This was a handheld shot I took the day I received the camera. I was impressed

Great little camera IMO.

I began taking digital photos with a Canon Powershot with 1 megapixel output. I could print a 4x6 with better sharpness than my pocket 35mm camera. The pixel wars have had improvements, but for outdoor lighting most of the newest camera are overkill for amateurs.

Hi,

I hope you can help me. Does "PowerShot SX20 IS" support SDHC UHS-I memory cards?

I've had most of that Canon Powershot series and I'm certain the early versions accepted those cards.
