Anyone see the new 3-D version of film 'Gemini Man'?

Was reading about how Ang Lee shot this with two Arri cameras and a half reflective mirror to get interocular distance for the two cameras ( like Natural Vision in the '50s?. )

But with a high very high frame rate.

American Cinematographer Nov issue explains that the high frame rate and half silvered mirrors ate up three times the normal lighting on set.  That alone raises cost of 3-D films of his process. ...  Sound of circuit breakers popping ...

My gripe, real gripe,  with the few showings of any 3-D around her has been with the  murky illumination level in projection. Cheapskates.

I plan to see Gemini  this week. for the 3-D effect mostly.  I like and support Ang Lee's dedication to stereo filming. Real 3-D and Dolby seem to be keeping the format alive.

Until Avatar II is released sometime in 2021.

I saw it and the 3D effect is really good, very natural, no ghosting, a strong improvement over former technics. I hope that other films will follow!
