I truly believe that this is the camera. THIS is the camera that will make my photos professional quality. It's well known in technology that the third generation is always where a product reaches it's apex, before forced iteration sets in. For example, the iPhone 3GS was the model that launched iPhone into the smartphone stratosphere.
Back in my younger days, before I learned better, I bought the fourth generation, the E-PL5. At first it was an amazing camera - I was over the moon and just about to start up a fledgling professional photography business thanks to its world-class scene modes. Then one day, the E-PL6 was announced and my E-PL5 immediately stopped working. I did some research on reddit and discovered that once a new model of camera is released, the old one immediately stops working, forcing you to upgrade. But my iPhone3GS still works to this day, thus I learned my lesson.
I believe this camera will intellgiently compensate for my lack of skill as a photographer and channel my inner creativity to create amazing photographs using its incredible art filters. All I needed was for technology to unlock my god-given talents to create memorable photographs for years to come, and this is the first camera ever that will let me take 50MP Hi-Res photos of brick walls, parking lots, and my cat using the art filters.
The camera's also so incredibly stylish that it will fuel my passion for street photography - beautiful people will turn their heads with intrigue at silver and black hipster contraption around my neck, break into a wry smile, and I'll snap epic portraits using my bleeding-edge Panasonic 20mm f/1.7 "Pannycake" lens, the best street photography lens in the world. Just as soon as I buy it used for $159.00.
I can't wait to show off my shiny new thing on Twitter and Instagram - people will be amazed at the incredible photos a regular guy like me can suddenly take! And deep down I'll know the secret behind the magic - it's all because of this incredible little camera. It made me who I am.
