Love how this lens works in lower light zones.

I like the 18-55 as a compact travel lens.

AT 55mm and 110'F in a non ac carriage heading into Hua Lamphong Station.  1/70 on a wobbly train - so ois doing its thing.

I got my 18-55 when I got an X-E1 years ago and cannot imagine that I will ever sell it.

Here are two 'portrait' pictures from my roadtrip in West-Canada (Vancouver to Calgary), last August. Both taken with the 18-55 + Velvia Film Sim with only minor edits to composition.

Re: Share a Favorite Photo Made with the 18-55

Both photos are gorgeous. I especially like the first one.

That said, I expanded them to full size and they look very blurry, as if they are out of focus almost everywhere. Does your lens always do this?

Re: Share a Favorite Photo Made with the 18-55

Thank you. To be honest, I have no idea. The focus squares were green and 'on', and the settings (like F stop) seem to be okay. I shot handheld with a stabilised lens, so it should be okay - right? If anybody has an idea why the full image is a bit blurry, please let me know

And here I am thinking of selling mine, so hard.
2

I am in to primes right now and am wanting an extra body to go with my 2 X-E1's  If I had 3 bodies I could have 3 primes mounted always and I see several models of Fuji bodies on Ebay for 300 and below, X-E2, X-T100, XT10, various bodies.  It is so hard to sell my wonderful Made in Japan 18-55, but the though of having a 3rd body is so enticing.  It's just scary thinking of having bad regret after she is gone.  Still haven't listed it yet, I start too, then see threads like this and see several here telling me not to do it, that I'll regret it.

The 18-55 was one of the primary reasons why I moved to Fuji from Sony E APSC. I still use it all the time.
