need creature ID - mantis shrimp?

I've never seen one of these before and assume it is perhaps a type of Mantis Shrimp.  Can anyone ID?

Sorry for the angle.   It was pointed out to me, I snapped a picture, and when I tried to get closer it had disappeared.

Definitely a mantis shrimp. What kind exactly, I don't know. How big was this one? Where? Roatan?

This was in Roatan, near Oak Ridge.  Size was 6-8 inches I'd say.

the rear sure looks to match, and I think I see the eye stalks.   But the top is odd - maybe soon to molt?

The answer is Havana Mantis Shrimp

Turns out to be an interesting creature. Said to have the hitting power of a .22 caliber bullet. And yes indeed, can produce small balls of light.
