Waratah Inflorescence

The Waratah (Telopea speciosissima) is an Australian shrub bearing bright red inflorescences, which are even more spectacular in 3-D:

Sorry for not mentioning it in the first place but I took the pictures with my Panasonic GX85 and the 12.5mm 3D twin lens.

Yes, the Panasonic 12.5mm "3D" lens is nothing to write home about in its native state (sharp from 0.6m to infinity), because of the excessively short stereo base. But this short distance between both lenses is indeed ideal for close-up shots, either with a diopter or by shimming the whole lens assembly:
