Using smartphone app for shooting with multiple cameras

I have canon EOS 4000D which I can remotly control with 'canon camera connect' android app. I want to buy similar cameras to take multiple shots for my photogrammetry project. So I'm wondering is it possible to connect 2 or more cameras to one smarphone and use camera connect app it as a remote shutter trigger for multiple cameras?
