NX3000 batteries

Does anyone have a reliable source [ideally, in the UK, please] of the B740AE batteries for this nice little camera?

Preparing mine for an up-coming trip, I find that all three of the Samsung originals I bought in 2015 seem unable to hold charge for more than 60 or 70 exposures - and the [off-brand] replacements I've now purchased seem no better - almost as if they'd gone into stock back then!

I could carry all five with me every day, but...

Thanks, Peter

I'll take that as a "No" then!

Doesn't the nx3000 take the same batteries as the ones on the S4 zoom mobile phone? You could try searching for 's4 zoom battery'

Thanks - I was aware of that, but it didn't help much with online searches, turning up very similar results to the camera.

I'll try our local phone shops, whose stock may perhaps be rather fresher - but may very well end up just putting it back in the drawer again,

Those are indeed the batteries for NX3000.

Don't know what was available when you looked, but now it says for the only vendor...

"Arrives between October 10-19."

China's just as far away for Prime members as anyone else - although it seems an unlikely source for the original batteries of a Korean camera?

One of several offers I've not found it very hard to resist.

Sorry - missed this somehow, but ebay is a land from which I tend to steer away.

So thanks, but the decision's made now - the NX stuff stays home, and I'll take a small M43 outfit instead.

Ok, I know what you mean, but on the other hand with eBay if anything isn't right, it's very easy to get a refund. I'd be inclined to buy one and see how it is.

Re: NX3000 batteries

I could be wring...but simply click the amazon prime box on the top left after searching for these batteries, and I believe you get next day delivery at N/C. As opposed to non-prime sellers that can deliver it anytime.

Re: NX3000 batteries

Very pleasing to report that my new batteries - branded "DSTE" and sold in pairs with a charger for some £12.50 - have now been persuaded into taking a full charge, after some initial reluctance!

I've only run a partial test on one of them, but that soared through the earlier limit of 60 or 70 shots, recording 282 pairs of RAWs & SF jpgs before dropping from three to two bars - a level at which it still remained after I'd taken a massive 500 individually-focused exposures....

Too bored to continue, but by then my Hahnel tester registered it as still having 40% charge remaining.... not bad at all!
