Re: Using the MC-14 Teleconverter on the Olympus 60mm macro lens

I have an mc-14 with and 40-150 f/2.8 pro which works perfect.

I ordered Meike extension tube to try if i can use the mc-14 with another lens.

The 16mm meike extension tube fits. but the body can't communicate with the lens.

BUT without the mc-14 the 16mm meike just works fine with the same lens.

I have JJC tubes and they will not mount to the MC-14. There is a small bracket in the TC that prevents the tubes going home.

Presumably the Fotga tubes are different, what alternatives are there please ?

TIA

The biggest Fotga tube works perfectly fine with the mc14 & mc20 after the hole has been opened up just a teeny bit with sand paper.

Some tubes won't work due to the connection pins having no springing. Hence poor or no contact!

PS. Ensure no sandpaper grit is left in or around the tube.

Thank you, I've ordered Pixco. Just have to wait now.
