Is it worth calibrating a MBP?
Accurate enough out of the box. they're crisp, clear, bright (maybe too bright), colorful and a pleasure to look at. You will see your images in a whole new light! I remember getting my first retina MBP - I revisited thousands of images that I had not seen in a number of years. They display really does bring your images to life.
However, as others have said in your previous thread, its best to calibrate any/every display you intend to use.
i just got a 2019. Display looked fine out of the box, and better after calibrating. It came in at about 90% of aRGB color space, vs 100% of sRGB in my older MBPs. If you're planning on using it for photo editing, you should definitely plan to calibrate it.
