Superb Zoom for price - Canon EF 75-300mm f/4.0-5.6 III

the lens was included with my Canon EOS 200d purchase.

I have used lens with a tripod and have found it to produce exception clarity of image with very minimal noise on the photo at maximum distance.

As with telephoto zoom lenses it is bound to produce distortion is using max zoom while the camera is being hand held, due to shake

Overall build quality is very excellent on a lens of this price, with quiet auto focus

my review takes into consideration the price i have paid for the double zoom kit

one of canon's worst.  if you like it that's great.

You should try one of Canon's newer 70-300mm lenses for comparison.
If cheap is what you seek, however, they can't compete with the 75-300.
There's a reason Canon often includes it as part of a kit with less expensive
cameras.  Serious photographers probably find themselves upgrading promptly.

I have a feeling that what always seemed to be its weakest optical property, CA at the long end, will be corrected out of JPEGs by modern cameras. I don't think I've used one for about 15 years but I never thought it as bad as its reputation.
