Controlling two smartphone shutters with same earphone.

Hello everyone,

Has anybody tried using 2 smartphones for their stereo photography? If so, how did you manage the shutters?

Has anybody tried using the volume control on an earphone to activate both of the shutters?

Yes, I tried some time ago. As far as I know, it's not possible directly (parallel connection of two phones). It's not possible even when adjusting the resistances inside controller (to half). It works only if the circuits are separated. I'd like to buy another phone to make some more tests, but am still in a phase of searching the appropriate phones. Will take some time, I think.

Just did that with 2 Samsung phones and it worked great! The volume + button fired both phones at the same time.
