7Artisans 28mm f/1.4 on M9

First outing with this lens. Exceeding my expectations in all regards.

I  really like rendering of  the Mall image, but the other one has a scary amount of CA.

Good catch. I hadn't noticed, but it did clean up nicely in LR.

Cleaned up using LR's Summilux preset and pushing the CA sliders all the way to the right.

Here is the original without any post-processing. You can see that much of the CA is not present before pushing the shadows and highlights.

I'm just wondering how could this happen almost in  the plane of focus. Was the lens wide open?

Much prefer the unprocessed jpg. The backs of the couches provide a nice gentle arc drawing the eye across the dark foreground that is completely lost in the processed version. Sometimes dark works best as dark... imho. ; - )

The 7Arts 28mm ASPH is a gem.
