TG-6 video record button mapping

The video record button on the TG-5/6 is on the back of the camera. But if you want to use the Olympus Sport Holder, or some other way of attaching the camera to use as a sports camera, there is no easy way to push this button.

In Video mode the shutter button takes a still. Other oly cameras allow you to reassign buttons so the shutter button can start video recording.

Is there a way to do this on the TG-5 or 6? I don't see any way in the menu on my TG-6.

Re: TG-6 video record button mapping

I also discovered this problem when I tried the Sport Holder attached to my backpack. The holder's design (and camera size) also makes it difficult to keep the camera level. As you noticed, the TG series doesn't offer options to remap button functions.
