I love Classic Chrome

Did a PJ shooting yesterday within a Siemens manufacturing plant, including portraits of the team members with the X-H1 (which works great with Eye-AF) and 90mm f2. No flash etc. PP was done in LR applying the Classic Chrome simulation

Thanks for looking

I don't know if it is your used of Classic Chrome.  These people appear as if they have never been in the sun.

Classic Chrome always looks like a zombie filter to me.

That kinda the point of Classic Chrome. It desaturates colours. The blue of the sky becomes pale and most of the colour seem paler than without the film simulation. Now, if you apply Eterna, you'll have the feeling a white veil has covered the lens and even shadows are somewhat not shadows.

But I like that film simulation too. It gives pictures a nice vintage feel, a bit as if it had been a bit too long exposed to the sun and lost the brightest colours as a result. I'm not sure it's the film simulation I'd choose for portraits,  but it nonetheless works rather well in this case.

Your portraits are nice. CC is the most boring simulation that Fuji makes. Everyone uses it and looks weird. It’s a good hipster look i guess? Hope your clients are happy!

They look fine. I’m surprised a big company like Siemens have given you permission to post their employees pics online..

No issue with that - the shots are planned for a LinkedIn / Blog story, so they will be online anyway.

I actually like these images  with CC. It's not always the first choice of simulation, however I think people forget that this can be a baseline for further modification in regards to tone and colour.

In daylight, try CC with +4 Color dialed in. I was worried it would wind up looking extreme (like the other simulations do at +4), but it winds up looking just right.

I find classic chrome to be a great baseline for portrait photography after some tweaking in post.

Very nice.  Personally I'm a fan of Pro Neg Std as a starting point for portraits.
