Is Panasonic 14-140 II video jittering still a thing?

I was looking for a good allaround lens (stills + video) for my Lumix G7 and 14-140 II seemed like a good option. Then I saw threads about poor video quality if you record video handheld without moving camera (no panning). Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lywgpkXwr60

So is video jittering still a problem or is it solved? G7 does not have IBIS so turning stabilization off is not an option. Or should I just pick Lumix 12-60 instead to be safe...

Re: Is Panasonic 14-140 II video jittering still a thing?

I'm not sure it was ever a thing.

Personally, I never had any issue with the 14-140ii on the G7 at any focal length.

The thing is that optical stabilization at 140mm is pretty hard and if the operator doesn't have a somewhat steady hand, it's likely that there will be stabilization hiccups trying to keep up with the shaky hands. I suspect this was the cause of the issue, since if I recall correctly, the person complaining was experiencing the problem at longer focal lengths.
