Beautiful images. Very scenic area. I especially like the last image with sun rays coming down.

Well done!

Nice imagery. Here is one thing to take a look at...your white balance seems to be a tad off - too much yellow is what I think I am seeing. Have a look and see what you come up with. Good luck!

I like them all, especially the one with the red tug boat.

Thanks, yes the one's with the polariser are quite warm, but I'm quite happy with what I see on screen and in print. I think the Benro polariser I was using has a warm cast to it, so may be Velvia is not the best choice to go with it.

Great colours and composition (even if the first three are on the warm side). My favourite is the penultimate one. Cool😉.

Very nice. Love the "transparency" of the first one.

Impressive SOOC. Would you care sharing your settings? I am a SOOC shooter as well.

All the best,

Bas

Or how about 'not messing about in boats'?

Oh thats easy: Velvia, +1 sharpening, that's it.

Add the Benro Polariser (one that comes with their fancy holder), plus manual metering or exposure compensation to minimise blowing out the hotspots (means overall exposure is quite low = saturated colours).

I don't usually shoot jpeg, usually jpeg+RAW, but forgot I had left camera on jpeg due to shooting some action the day before

Thanks!

Thanks for kind comments....

.....made the 4am start worth it!!!!

Felt that the blue-hour/pre-sunrise one would work better as a square. And mono. What do people think?

Brilliant! Absolutely perfect image for B&W. Menacing clouds, beacon of hope, perfect!

Would make a nice wall print.

Cheers,

Jake
