Is Sigma 30mm f1.4 fast on A6000?

Hi

I have sony nex 6 on which I used to use a sigma 30mm f1.4. I loved the quality of images, but in anything but a full sunlight it struggled to focus. It was very slow and hunted for focus for ages. This was the sole reason I sold the lens.

Now I am getting sony a6000 which is reported to have a much better and faster AF. Does any of you have an experience of sigma 30mm f1.4 on sony a6000? Is it fast, or is this lens slow regardless of the camera body?

Thanks.

I was happy with it. No problems at all. I have used it in very dark situations. Bought an A6500 afterwards, so I do not have a lot of experience with it. I have taken some shots at 1/3th, f/1.4, iso6400 with AF. That was not action, but AF worked for me.

This is a test on the a6500 but it should be similar on the a6000 too.
