Green things on canon 1300d penta mirror, what should I do?

I have used my 1300d for more than a year now. Even though I have not exactly been taking good care of it it still functions well and no big issues have happened. A week ago I have discovered two green things showing up on my viewfinder. It's like they popped out of no where suddenly. These green things are only clearly visible when viewing at a certain distance from the viewfinder, it gets blurry when viewed up close but still quite distracting.

I checked the reflex mirror, sensor, and focus screen and they are clean, even the images are perfectly fine. So I decided to remove the focusing screen from the camera and see if these things somehow got into the other side of the focus screen, but what I have discovered is that these things are on the pentamirror itself. I tried using a rocket blower but it just wouldn't budge, I even tried shaking the camera but no luck.

So two questions, any suggestions on what these things are and what should I do?

Thanks in advance

The reflex mirror has some dust on it but it doesn't relate to the issue

The focusing screen was removed and the green things weren't on it

It's very difficult to tell exactly where they are or even what they are from the pictures. If you can locate them precisely then  I would suggest you dampen a cotton bud with isopropyl and wipe very gently to try to remove them. If that doesn't work then it will be a case of finding a camera repair shop.

They won't affect your pictures but if it is something organic then you never know what it might grow into so early removal is advisable.

I tried to do what you suggested and it didn't quite work, it made the green things go black and the pentamirror got some water mark on it. However, I don't plan on using this camera in the future anyway so there was nothing to lose. Thanks for the help regardless.

As it had that reaction I would guess the marks were some sort of corrosion of the surface silvering, you have removed the corrosion and exposed the damaged surface below. Not much you can do apart from replace the pentamirror which obviously wouldn't be economically viable. It was worth a try anyway.

Incidentally the watermark that isopropyl sometimes leaves behind can be removed with lens cleaning fluid.
