Leathery on brown NX300 but less so on black version?

I just noticed something: The material on my brown nx300 is more leathery (softer, natural feel) than on my black nx300. Both cameras have aged differently (brown nx300 has been used far more), so wonder if anyone else felt the same? Is it a difference of batch or just colours?

Kind regards,

Massao

Perception or reality?

...that is the question!  It could be psychological, meaning that the brown color (it's definitely not leather) may impart the look and feel of leather, but it isn't.  So when you're looking at the black version, the mind doesn't decipher/recognize the color black as anything having to do with leather.  I'm sure that both colors are the same material.  Similar comments could be made for other brand cameras that offer both a brown and silver, along with a black and silver version camera.

Darn, really thought all my silver Rokinon/Samyang/Bower Lenses were 100% coated Sterling Silver.

Re: Perception or reality?

My black nx500 has her leathery grip torned out due to moisture exposure...so my brown unit has taken her place
