I grabbed some video of Jupiter this morning, here's an image made from stacking the "good" frames.

Re: Bonaparte's Gull

Good catch! Is that gull rare or common at your location?

Show Your Snaps...May 13, 2019 - Thanks

Thanks. I'm not sure but I think this pier was rebuilt, but I don't know without looking up its history.

Re: A little birding

That's great you are squeezing in some time to do some birding.  I think the first two images are of a juvenile wood duck.  The first one looks like a young male, but I'm not sure.  Those are nice captures of the white egrets too.

Different flying things...

A few shots yesterday evening, before the rain came, of the Royal Military College of Canada's sunset ceremony. The Canadian Forces "SkyHawks" put on a brilliant show!

Re: Different flying things...

Excellent!  The red colors stand out against a gray sky.  I especially liked seeing the swirls.

Thank you. It is too bad it started raining shortly after the sky diving display. I missed out on the gun carraige show with their muzzle flashed and the fireworks show.

Re: Caspian Tern

That's a good capture; it's nice and sharp.  I appreciate what people do, that take these pictures of flying birds.  It can be hard to get them just right with a heavy telephoto lens.
