That's great you got so close.  I don't think I've seen anyone do that with a phone.

Wow...those are beautiful.  I looked at them quite a few times...just in awe of the heavens above that you show us.

Oh yes...what fun.  I do like seeing those kinds of things as summer approaches.  I think it's amazing how much people spend on their cars (time and money) to restore them like that.

Re: Preakness Wonder Bread and Carboat

It took this picture to convince my kids that the carboat was a real thing.  I remember seeing one drive into the Potomac when I was a kid and just boated off.  Now they believe me......:-)

Great phone! Is it one of these new phones with two lenses or artificial bokeh?

Re: Rising pollen count...

Hi Digirame, Thanks.

Hopefully I'll be seeing the all white Egrets in a few weeks time, down on the south-west coast. Here we call them the 'Little Egret', they're white but somewhat smaller than the Great White Egret. I have heard we now have breeding pairs of Great White Egrets (First time in 2012.) but I've never seen one.

Re: Rising pollen count...

Hi cdmazoff, Thanks.

I'm hoping it's going to be a good season for damselflies, last year they were fewer numbers where I walk or maybe I just need glasses.

No.. Many migration maps for the Glossy Ibis show that NS is at the Northern end of breeding area.
