Rearranged buttonlayout? Was the G80 not good enough? I mean new can be just new not really better.

Rear buttons on the g80/85 are a bit too flush to the body.  Hopefully, the G90 improves on that.

video: yes highspeed/slowmotion video is not present on the g80.

G80 can shoot 1080 @ 60fps (that's what I always use) so it can definitely produce slow motion video if your output video is 30fps.

Hi.. if you are happy with the body, my recommendation is to upgrade lens instead (if you want to spend money)..

.

For newer 20mp sensor, from reviewers, it improves in almost every way, from color, DR, VDO focus speed etc.. From my personal experience, 20mp sensor plus many newer "hidden" features that come with it are clearly big step forward.. YMMV

The product photos on the Panasonic website suggest the rear buttons will be better.

I'm also interested to see the quality of the EVF and EVF optics on the G90/95. If the EVF is superb, that would be very appealing.

To be more satisfied.

Why should a satisfied user upgrade? To be more satisfied. If you don't think you'll be more satisfied, don't upgrade, it's that simple.

Yes true.

I am always more satisfied with new toy's but if that last after the first spike of endorfine depents on more then a new toy...😉

Bring in money vs upgrade importancy then the grey is rising.

Is the wish for better supported to the use of present gear.

Spending money on a hobby isn't the goal, the goal is getting pleasure from the hobby and be happy with the results you get utilizing the gear you need for the hobby.

Since you are a satisfied user, there is, IMO, no reason to upgrade. Continue to use what you have and continue to be a satisfied user.

This is good advice. Use the money for travel, lenses, or something fun.

There is only one reason I would upgrade from the G85 to the G95... and that's if they fixed the autofocus issue that plagues the G85 as seen in the first 2 minutes of this video.
