Where to Buy Cold/Hot Shoes for Flash Foot?

I'd like to fabricate several flash brackets to see what works best for macro photography. I have a mill and lathe and lots of aluminum plate for this. What I don't have are the shoes needed to attach the off-camera cord heads to the brackets. I can use either cold or hot shoes for this, as long as there's a means of attachment (such as screw holes). Anyone know where I can buy just the shoes for this purpose? I'd like to get 10 or so to experiment with. An example of what I need is in the photo. Thanks!

C'mon, give a fellow shooter a little credit. Of course I checked eBay. All I found was the Chinese stuff with the molded plastic block underneath. Nothing like the pic I posted. If you've seen a seller with metal shoes like that one, I'm all ears.

Try B&H.

See, for example...

or

Search their site, there are other choices besides these.

Regards,

Well, after thinking about this more, I've decided to go a different way. These are for a dual-flash bracket I'm fabricating for macro work. I realize now that the flashes might need to be mounted horizontally on either side of the lens, extending toward the front. That would require me to make another mechanism to be sure they don't fall out of the shoes. The type below will clamp the feet and save some time on the mill.

Thanks for the links. I'll search BH if this doesn't work out.

Re: Where to Buy Cold/Hot Shoes for Flash Foot?

I just bought four cold shoes cheap. Smallrig. Also had to buy 1/4-20 to 3/8 adapters (Manfrotto).

The smallrig cold shoes came 2 in a package.

If you want a hot shoe, you either need a shoe cable extender or a trigger device like Pocket Wizard.
