Sound activated trigger
1

I made this sound activated trigger, based on cheap component I learned about on line.

I got this from ali express.

I used a shallow box  and cover. I bought a three AAA holder and toggle switch for it.

I'm just starting to experiment. I'm using a Godox TT685 at 1/128 power, Sony A99 with Minolta 100mm macro lens.

Re: Sound activated trigger

Nice job. Would you post the specific component you used as the basis for this?

Re: Sound activated trigger

Thanks. Here's a link:

It's not perfect. I'm doing this in my basement, and it cold outside. So, every time the furnace kicks on, I have to shut it off. The sensitivity is pretty ticklish to adjust. And  my shutter is loud enough to trigger it.

But, fun any way.
