Pany Lenses on Oly EM-1 mk II

I love my Pany G7 but I want to go back to BIF shots (like I used to with my old Canon 7D).  The G7 as most know, sucks really bad at BIFs.  I am drawn to the BIF-tested Oly EM-1 mark II but want to know if the following lenses will work with the OLY:

Pany 100-400

Oly 9-18

Pany 14-140 (ver 1)

Thanks.

Gary

There have been many report's of the Panny 100-400 not fitting well  on the Oly EM1.2. I encountered five copies that did not work on my body and/or store demo bodies

By "not fitting well" I mean requiring more torque than usual and leaving metal shavings inside the body. Some users aren't bothered by this. If you're considering this lens I'd recommend buying in person, or at least having a favorable return policy.  This will also allow you to determine if the zoom ring is too tight (many reports of this, and I encountered it, too).

If you're looking for a long range, the Oly 75-300 is great. Nice and light for traveling, and plays well.

Oly 9-18 works fine.

I can't speak for the Panny 14-140 that you mentioned.

If you're looking for a great zoom the Oly 12-100 is phenomenal. It is worth its price.

No Pro Capture Low with Panny lenses

ProCap Low is greyed out with non-Olympus lenses. But you can use Procap High.

ProCap Low frame rate is where it seeks focus each shot. Procap High frame rate is where the focus doesn't change from the first shot.

'Normal' high and low burst shots are of course available with non-Olympus lenses. But the ProCapture facility is simply astounding.

Gary, I have the PL100-400 and use with my EM1.2. It’s a great combination. I use the lens’ built in IS which is terrific. I have had no issue with the mount as mentioned above nor stiff zoom which may be due to some folks forcing the zoom when the lock ring is not fully disengaged.

I own the panasonic 100-400 and got it second hand when i was in Japan. it has a stiff barrel on cold days. On warm days its fine.
It works well on both my Pen F and even better on my em1 mkii in Autofocus capabilities and handling.
It has been noted that the weather sealing gasket on the PL 100-400 is not compatible with olympus bodies and this much is true. On a heavy rainy day I have seen some water intrusion onto the mount but this is during heavy rainfall. other than that its a stellar performer.
