That IS annoying!. I wish there were a way to LOCK the DISP mode.

Add a Fotodiox Thumb Grip Type A and that problem mostly goes away.

I wound up with two GX8s and a GX85, the latter because it was compatible with Godox' X1 trigger whereas the GX7 wasn't.

I shoot with all three in my event work. Two GX8s on an OpTechUSA Dual Sling and the GX85 with a small prime on a neck strap.

Lately, though, I added an a7RII to my kit. Not sure whether I'll keep it, and, if I do, which Panasonic it will replace, if any.

I couldn't say. I don't use post-focus, and I don't own those lenses.
