Nice depth, good subject placement. I often do cha-cha 3D if I don't have my 3D camera with me. Works well on stationary objects. Thanks for sharing.

Oops, I just realized in your gallery, these were taken with the Fuji W1. What did you mean by C+C?

Edit: I just looked at your sig, and see Critique and Criticism. I really don't have any, other than you might take motorcycle on more a headshot to give it more depth, maybe on a 45 degree or greater angle so you still see all of the bike and person. Having it sideways negates the 3D aspect of viewing it. A 2D pic would be just as interesting.

As for the top shot, you might lower the camera to frame the boats behind the wood post to increase the interest of the objects closer to the camera versus those in the back.

Re: A couple recent parallel shots C+C

I can't see 3d parallel pictures without special glasses with 4 mirrors.

I can see cross eyes without problem. I think in this forum cross eyes are almost standard.

Anyway I have those glasses and I saw the pictures without downloaded and make them cross eyes.

The 3d effect is very nice and I enjoyed the pictures.

Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for taking the trouble to check out my shots! I stick to parallel because I have had more success teaching people how to see 3D in this mode versus crossed. I have difficulty seeing crossed myself, unless they  are really perfect.

I, too, have never been able to use the "cross-eyed" technique. I use a Loreo Pixi 3d viewer to see my images on my monitor when I'm doing post processing.

BTW, really like the first shot, but living in Colorado means that the paraphernalia shown is exotic. (grin)

There is no real  standard for viewing from what I observe or read on this forum or elsewhere...  I can do both parallel and cross eyed free view methods easily, ambivisual stereopsis  :-)...  The ISU publication uses the parallel method.  My eyes, using parallel are in a relaxed distant convergence so I guess that is why it is more comfortable.  Some sites use both to cater to the different eyeballs.  I will try to post in both methods.  But yes, a simple Pokescope prism device, or other mirror methods have been used for years....During the card Keysone Views era, that was the modality.  So it has a history.  Anaglyph, to my taste is blah...but polarization anaglyph or Vectograph are something else.  Options abound.

Hi Steven.  I enjoy your stereos.  And your subject matter shows some thought and a good eye.     I have been entranced with stereoscopic photography since college days in Boston.  And the passion remains.  Aloha, Gerry  Mililani HI.

Both the shot are nice. But you can get it more clarity from the DSLR Camera.
