Anyone Use a Adaptor for Minolta MD lenses to K Mount body?

I have a new (old stock) Quantaray 28-70 lens for Minolta and would like to use it on my K50. Do any of you have experience using the adaptor from either Fotodiox or K&F? Likes/dislikes and comments welcome. Thanks in advance.

Here's the Fotodiox adaptor: www.adorama.com/fdmdpkg.html?gclid=CjwKCAiAyrXiBRAjEiwATI95mdoE0GJRFjgtL1wLyDfafE_7Bp0-lu97YrUdzOwDEoe2GGVd0aEQjRoCYiAQAvD_BwE

I have that EDIT - The Fotodiox adapter it works just fine and fits the lens and cameras well. Here are some shots with the Minolta MD 50 1.4. I really love the bokeh out of this lens. I do notice that I get a bit of a impressionistic glow on some images like the tulips shot below. i think it may have something to do with being wide open and the glass in the adapter creating the effect.  That one, like all of them, was processed in Lightroom with a few tweaks. But it can be very sharp. Here's a few images: some were on the K-1 and some on the KP :

Thanks Bill. THese look great and I like your creativity. I do use a Fotodiox adaptor ring with my Pentax Super Takumar 135mm on the K50 and it works great.

Just stating the obvious, but this combo will have an equivalent focal length of 59-147mm. Handling will be awkard at best, and you haven't told us the aperture of the lens. The 40$ adaptor makes it not so interesting financially

It could be fun to play with these oldies, but i'd recommend you have a standard zoom for your K50 first.

Thanks Miles. I have some Pentax and Sigma modern lenses and enjoy them, but it's always fun to play with the older vintage lenses. My favorite has to be the Pentax Super Takumar 135mm..love the image quality rendition.

Yes, if I need to spend $40. (more than I paid for the lens) to make it work, I'll reconsider.

I mean its possible to like the effects but most of these images would be called bad bokeh by the original definition of the term. Good bokeh is a smooth OOF background with no highlights to disturb the view of the subject. This is more like the view thru a mirror lens which is pretty much the definition of bad bokeh itself.

You should be fine B&H has the Fotodiox adapter for just under 40 bucks.
