SX710 HS Disregards Manual Settings when Filming

Whenever I am in manual mode, I adjust the aperture, iso, and shutter speed. The pictures shoot like I want, but whenever I press the record button to film, those specifications are totally disregarded by the camera and it gets super bright again.

So you're saying that the SX70 manual photo settings don't carry over to video? My five year-old Sony HX400V applies all the pertinent photos settings to video. Being able to set the shutter speed to 1/60th-sec. for 4K video is essential for some kinds of action shots. Does anyone know more about this?
