Am I allowed to post some oldies??

A little pots from my travels over 10 years ago with the Digital Rebel XT (350D) and the original kit lens.

You certainly are allowed to show some oldies.   Those are beautiful scenes.  I still have my Olympus E-500 and E-510 cameras (8mp and 10mp respectively).  But I haven't used them in a long while.  But they still took excellent pictures.  Generally I was limited to about ISO500 with my E-500 and ISO800 with my E-510 (unless I wanted a lot of extra noise or the lighting was bright).

Very nice shots, they've withstood the test of time.

I still have my 400D.  I must confess I hardly use it.  But, this makes me want to get it out again. Very nice pictures.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments! Glad I decided to post.  I learned to use my camera through dpreview users via this forum back then, alot of nostalgia looking through old pictures and posting in this thread again.

The images of the sunrise over the water are very nice. I hope you have at least one of those hanging up in your home!

You might be surprised out how well those beach images will print. I would select a couple and print them as A4's and then try A3. It doesn't take massive resolution to print good images at a realistic size. Prints from my old Canon 1000D print nicely at A3 size. They may not be high museum quality but framed they would look good.

My old 350D is still going strong.  I use it now as my "water camera" when I go canoeing.  Stick some L glass or high quality EF-S glass on it and the images are amazing.  I have a 30x40 inch canvas hanging in the living room shot with it and it looks great!

It was/is a very robust camera.
