NX300 shooting mode problems

I have been using NX300 for a few years and I am very satisfied with the photographic quality. This aspect makes me undecided about what to buy as a future successor. In the meantime I use it enthusiastically. A few problems have been born for a few weeks now. When I want to choose a shooting mode of type P, A, S, M, etc., in the display I do not see this mode that I have chosen but another. Sometimes after a few seconds it is automatically set to the chosen mode while at other times I have to switch off and on again and this is not always enough. This problem is annoying and I would like to try to solve it. I have the latest firmware. Has anyone ever had such problems and solved them? I also have Samsung NX3000 and has the same problem. Thank you

Re: NX300 shooting mode problems

Unfortunately, everybody is facing the same issue with almost all of the NX cameras

Some claim that "warming" the jog helps, others say comoressed air helped, some used contact spray (I would think twice about that).

I solved it by being in M all the time

You can remove the backplate (easy on all models) and push the canned air or contacts spray directly under the dial if you are afraid of spreading. Will fix it for some time, then you do it again.
